Transition Solutions 2-Day Workshop focuses on your transition needs and offers personalized career consulting.

• Career Consulting. Your individual questions will be answered and personal career advice will be given in a workshop setting.

• Individualized Transition Plan. A sample of a step-by-step plan of personal career transition activities is provided within your Career Transition Workbook. We help you to understand the steps in the job search to enable you to successfully address today's competitive job market.

• Resume. We work with you to prepare a resume that enables you to effectively market your skills and experiences within the marketplace.

• Networking. Increasingly networking has become the most significant vehicle for finding opportunities. You will learn the most effective networking approaches and skills to determine: "Who do I call? What do I say? How do I increase my networking contacts? How do I use technology to maintain my contacts?"

• Social Media. You will learn how to effectively use social media and Internet job search sites in your job search.

• Interview Preparation. How do you best present yourself to the job market? How you communicate is crucial to how you are perceived in the job market. We coach you to communicate your strengths, achievements and capabilities in the most effective manner; explain liabilities in a way that projects you in a positive light and how to persuasively address tough questions. A sample role-play interview may be conducted.

• Negotiations. We help you to secure the best job with the best terms of employment. Training in various negotiation tactics involving salary, job responsibilities, job title, vacation and other terms are a part of the workshop.
