What can you do now?
- Network – Attend those holiday parties. Go to those industry events. Be Present. Often times, executives are more available during the two weeks at the end of December than any other time of the year. Companies are quiet, there are many vacations and often they are picking up their own phone and checking their own emails.
- Stay in the Market – Continue to apply to ads, follow up on those ads and work on all leads. A house taken off the market won’t sell. So many people take the month of December off from job search, thus, the competition is less and your chances of selection are greater. Be better than your competition!
- Hone your marketing materials – Great opportunity to obtain input into what may need updating, changing, shifting for the new year. Reach out and seek advice on communications, process and job seeking tools.
